OSU Beef Cattle Breeding Facility
North Lake Carl Blackwell Range

The beef cattle breeding research program is conducted at the North Lake Carl Blackwell Range which consists of approximately 2700 acres. Native pasture and hay meadow constitutes about 2500 acres with the remainder in Bermuda-grass The unit supports approximately 240 cows. There are two working facilities with scales in the area. In addition, there is a calving barn and storage buildings in the headquarters area.
